10-Day Board and Train

Service Description

This 10-day Board and Train in my home allows me to work one-on-one with your dog, establishing a strong foundation of basic obedience skills, recall, or loose-leash walking. Your dog will integrate into my home life and routine for a real-life setting producing real-life results. They will be exposed to the normal distractions of a home environment daily, like kids, other household pets, and visiting guests. They may also get the opportunity to go on field trips if this supports your training goals and the training plan. A board and train is not a magic button to solve all the problems, but rather a quick-start to getting on the right track of a life of continual training for your dog. Clients must show a commitment to their dog's continual training and those interested in starting this board and train program are required to have at least one private session completed within the past three months. While you may have a long list of goals, and your dog will be exposed to many behavioral standards, the focus of your dog's training will be on your top three goals noted on your Board and Train intake sheet. Note that a focus on recall or loose-leash walking are done in two separate Board and Train programs. This is to ensure a stronger successful outcome from two major parts of training. Every 10-day Board and Train program comes with three 1-hour post-Board and Train sessions. The first session, the Go Home session, is done upon the completion of the program at the dog's pickup or drop off. The first Follow Up Session is done 7-10 days after the Go Home session, and the final Follow Up session is done 7-14 days after the first Follow Up session. After completing your first 10-day Board and Train program, clients will receive $500 off any future 10-day Board and Trains.
